Susan Mitchell has spent over 25 years providing consulting services to Corporate America, specializing in the financial services industry. Susan began her career as a system analyst in the computer industry and progressed to hold positions such as Vice President of Sales and Senior Vice President of Research and Development in Fortune 500 companies. She was instrumental in the implementation of SB7, the Redlining Community Reinvestment Act legislation and she facilitated the capitalization of de novo banks with the Comptroller of Banks for the State of California. Susan has consulted with organizations such as Bank of America, Citicorp, Chase, Wells Fargo, and the FDIC while developing custom application software for market analysis, multiple regression and branch data exchange. She has authored numerous technical and behavioral educational programs that have been accredited by the National PONSI board and certified by the State of California Employment Training Panel.

In 1985, Susan founded MyDAS Marketing, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in award-winning education, research and marketing programs for the financial services industry. Maximizing her education in Marketing (MBA), Susan has applied her entrepreneurial spirit to key business initiatives. For over 20 years, MyDAS provided services that garnered an enviable reputation within the industry while exceeding a bottom line return on investment. Based upon this solid performance and goodwill, in 2004 MyDAS’ assets were acquired by Liberty Enterprises, to enrich their product resources and enable the company to reach a broader audience of financial institutions. Ms. Mitchell remained CEO of MyDAS as an autonomous division servicing over 5,000 organizations nationally. In June of 2005, MyDAS was acquired by John H. Harland Company now serving two-thirds of all financial institutions in the U.S. Under Susan’s leadership, MyDAS was renamed Harland Educational Services to build upon Harland’s robust value proposition and allow expansion into the consumer education market.

Ms. Mitchell currently provides strategic consultation to financial institutions and their business partners through her renamed corporation: Mitchell, Stankovic and Associates. MSA's clients include: Wescorp, COOP Network, Credit Union Direct Lending, RMJ Foundation, Callahan and Associates, State Leagues and multi-billion dollar organizations.

In 2009, Susan was recognized by the World Council of Credit Unions for her volunteerism in developing countries around the world and her program advisory consultation in the creation of the Global Women’s Initiative that in its inaugural year has 78 members and over 22 countries represented. Susan has facilitated Board planning sessions for WOCCU, executive team strategic meetings and provided educational programs globally.

Susan was given the inaugural Diversity Visionary Award, the Richard Miles Johnson Award, and the Beacon Award by the California/Nevada Credit Union Leagues. These awards recognized her organization's outreach efforts to educate the public on financial fiscal responsibility and their dedication to fostering appreciation of all cultures. Ms. Mitchell was named Southern Nevada Businesswoman of the Year and MyDAS was honored as Business of the Year.
